Summer 2023
We are in full swing with all sites up and running smoothly. Monday through Thursdays from June 26 - August 3rd. (No Lunch Service the week of July 4th)
We are excited with the return of many favorite spots as well as two new ones that are doing very well.
Volunteering for a Very Worthy Effort
The school district helps to fill the gap of hunger during the school year, but what happens when school is not in session? It is estimated that 1/3 of the children in the Wenatchee Valley go hungry during each school break.
The summer months are just as important as any time of the year and Small Miracles staffs volunteers who provide lunches Monday through Thursday at various community locations.
Although the program is subsidized by the state of Washington, donations and sponsorships from the community help make the program a success. Call us to find out about being a sponsor.
The program operates under the Washington State Department of Agriculture and is managed by the State of Washington Superintendent of Public Instruction.
